How to reach Ferrara
Ferrara is located in Emilia-Romagna, a region in the north of Italy. The closest airports are Bologna and Venice.
Once you have landed at Bologna Airport, you can reach Ferrara city centre either using the bus&fly service or by train. In the latter case, a shuttle bus will take you from Bologna Airport to Bologna railway station, where you can easily get on a train to Ferrara.
Accommodation
Although the University of Ferrara may not directly provide you with any accommodation, the Welcome and Incoming Office will give you advice on facilities, transports, public services etc. Please refer to the Welcome Office for information.
